Local Restaurateurs Have Their Sites on a Brand New Plan!

Alibaba Restaurant Elias Hishmeh and family creators of several successful dining establishments in Morgantown (Ali Baba’s, the Mediterranean Market, and Voyagers Restaurant) have developed a new long-term vision. As of May 1, Voyagers Restaurant at the Morgantown Municipal Airport will become “Ali Baba Restaurant” which will serve as the cornerstone for several future locations in the greater Morgantown area. “We’re going back to the basics” states Aaron Hishmeh who has served as the head chef for the past 12 plus years. “The food my dad started with is what made us popular, we’re going to do what we do best and take it on the road” This is all part of a growing trend in the restaurant industry, kiosk locations, where smaller foot print stores are supplied daily by a central location where production quality can be better managed.

The Ali Baba Restaurant team plans to continue this great tradition of providing great food at a reasonable price. Elias Hishmeh has been serving the Morgantown Community for 31 years. He prides himself on making sure that every customer leaves his establishment knowing that they have experienced a true taste of the Mediterranean.
